We’re Savannah and Mason Summers – a husband and wife team who have been married for over 10 years, and working together even longer. In short – we love telling love stories. We believe that your wedding goes far beyond a celebration, it’s the foundation for your future as a husband and wife – and that’s the narrative we’re honored to tell through our work.
We are storytellers first, and see each individual wedding and event as exactly that – its very own project as original as your lives as a couple. So, we take a documentary-style approach to organically capture the elements of your day, and your history, that are uniquely you. Our film and photo work is done entirely in house – shooting, editing, and everything in between – to ensure each nuance of your story is expressed.
We’re East coast natives and eternal adventurers. Together we’ve shot weddings from everywhere between Hawaii and Washington DC – so no matter where your day takes place, we’re thrilled to be there.
Our work has received the Wedding Wire Couple’s Choice Award for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019; achieved The Knot’s Best of Weddings for 2016, 2017, and 2019. We have been selected as an Engaged Magazine Best of the Best for 2016 and 2017 and our work has also been featured on the wedding blogs Style Me Pretty, Ruffled, Ceremony, and Something Turquoise.

Besides our work, there are many things in this life that fill us with joy and excitement. We love traveling, both near and abroad and do it any chance we get. We love meeting people different than ourselves. We love antiquing, vinyl records, 60’s music, midcentury decor, and classic films. We love Christmas and collecting vintage ornaments. We love Jesus and put our faith in Him. We love The Beatles and our dog’s name is Penny Lane. We love our daughter, Juniper; the happiest spirit we’ve ever known.

How do we book?
Before booking anything, we’d love to hear from you and find out what you have planned for your special day. Once we connect and find out if we’re a good fit, we book all of our weddings and events through a website called HoneyBook. We’ll provide you with the details and request a 25% deposit and a signed contract to officially reserve your day.
How would you describe your style?
One of the things we love most about documenting weddings and events is witnessing the natural joy and love that is shared between the couple and the guests. Our goal is to allow as many candid moments and memories to unfold naturally without interference. Our style is truly documentary with a few moments throughout the day where we intentionally become more hands-on.
What is included in your packages?
Our video packages primarily include a Highlight Film set to music (our wedding video samples) as well as an Extended edit which includes your full ceremony and other major events edited together from start to finish. You may not watch the longer edit very much but you’ll be glad you have it.
Can I pick the music for my video?
Every wedding and event is truly unique and different. And so are our edits. We love to tailor all our video to our couples matching the style and feel they’ve created for their special day. We’re open to suggestions on music but generally try to choose licensed music so you can share your video freely on social media. We usually come up with suggestions for you to review and then you can help us decide what fits best.
Do you travel for bookings?
We love to travel; so no matter where you’re planning to have your wedding or event, we would love to be a part of it. There is no cost for locations around Southern California and Washington DC. We request a travel fee for other destinations.
How long does it take to receive my finished product?
As a husband and wife team, we like to keep everything in-house. You’ll communicate directly with us from day one, we film your wedding, and additionally we do every edit. Since we don’t trust any outside editors with our work it takes us about 8 weeks from the day of your event to complete all of the editing and provide you with the finished edit to review.
Packages
Our packages start around $3000 and range up from there. Our video packages include a Highlight Film set to music, an Extended Film with a couple’s full ceremony and other major events edited together from start to finish, as well as drone filming where permitted by location. Our photography packages include an online gallery of edited images, full download, and a teaser delivered one week after the wedding. We’re also open to customizing our services to fit each couple’s unique day.
